I see them standing at the formal gates of their colleges. I see my father strolling out under the ochre sandstone arch, the red tiles glinting like bent plates of blood behind his head. I see my mother with a few light books at her hip, standing at the pillar made of tiny bricks with the wrought-iron gates still open behind her, its sword-tips black in the May air. They are about to graduate. They are about to get married. They are kids. They are dumb. All they know is they are innocent, they would never hurt anybody. I want to go up to them and say,

“Stop, don’t do it. She’s the wrong woman. He’s the wrong man. You are going to do things you cannot imagine you would ever do. You are going to do bad things to children. You are going to suffer in ways you never heard of. You are going to want to die.”

I want to go up to them there in the late May sunlight and say it. But I don’t do it. I want to live. I take them up like the male and female paper dolls, and bang them together at the hips like chips of flint, as if to strike sparks from them. I say,

“Do what you are going to do and I will tell about it.”

Everyone is covering their favorite overplayed song these days. I have nothing against covers but if that’s all you do, then please stop. The world doesn’t need another copy of an original. It needs another original.

There are people who play football. There are people comment on the people who play football. There are even people who comment on the people who comment on the people who play football. Being a spectator itself has become a sport, a profession, a way of living.

But i believe we have a higher calling. I believe we are meant to do something better with our lives. I believe we aren’t supposed to be just another face on facebook, another cover on youtube, or another blog on tumblr.

No matter how you get there or where you end up, human beings have this miraculous gift to make that place home.

My mother today asked my father how his day was. My father deals with loans and such. I’m actually not quite sure what he does exactly or his job title. I guess you could say that he’s a banker. Regardless he began talking about one of his clients. Apparently this client’s wife became ill at some point. The client then began paying for her medical bills will his credit card. His rate is so high up now that it consumes a bit over 80% of his income currently. When my mother asked if the wife was ok now, my father replied, “No. She’s dead.”

Whoever you are sir, i am truly, deeply sorry for your loss. I hope you have friends and family who can help you out during this terrible time in your life.

Exciting news for us KINGDOM HEARTS fans! KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX is now available for pre-order across all America and Europe, so what are we all waiting for?

Along with a Standard Edition, there will also be a Limited Edition available with a special art book to commemorate the release of this HD remaster collection.

This HD remaster will include for the first time in outside of Japan KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX, KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories which was previously only released in Japan and North America, and KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days remastered as HD cinematics. The entire collection contains trophies, updated graphics, updated gameplay, and remastered music by series composer Yoko Shimomura.

KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 ReMIX will launch across North America on September 10th, and September 13th for Europe and PAL regions.

If you wish to learn more about where to pre-order the game, check out the official KINGDOM HEARTS website. However, if you wish to grab a Limited Edition copy, you should hurry up since it’s apparently VERY limited.
